This project began in 2001 and is the culmination of a life spent trying to make art accessible. This Project may never end seeing as it is less about the quantity of portraits than it is about a life of sharing. This project allows me to give as well as receive. I offer you, the sitter, a unique artistic experience, and I have the pleasure of your company. Taking part in this project puts you at a vulnerable position, not to me as the artist or the people who view the portrait, but you are vulnerable to yourself. You judge your portrait. You look at yourself. You experience a work of art come into being, and you give it life with your thoughts. I as the artist do not get the opportunity to tame these works; they are unbridled and a sponge for content. Once you experience this process you will forever be changed, subtly.
