Quibdo Watercolors

This is a series of Watercolors done for a show in Quibdo, Columbia. This series brings to the fore deep relationship with one another as well as our surroundings. One aspect of South America that we cannot overlook as Americans is how readily resources are sold for short-term gains. In the case of the land in South America that is being traded for money. As it relates to the relationships, with the continued importing of addictive cultures it is becoming all too easy to look away from those that are right in front of us.

As the United States continues to learn and export addiction and dependence South America continues to be a target of those efforts for profit. It was such a pleasure to bring my work to Quibdo. This series will forever stay in Quibdo so if you are interested in purchasing them you will have to go to them.
