Did you learn what to want before you knew what you wanted?

Did you learn what to want before you knew what you wanted?

It is neither easy nor pleasant to realize we are not inspired. Many of us are feeling imbalance as the world seems increasingly out of control, and even more so, out of our control.

Life is surprisingly simple when we can rid ourselves of the expectations we were led to having. In my interview with Chris Robinson, we addressed that the lives many of us end up living, have very little to do with our own input. Each of us has learned ways to be (through observing parents, teachers, peers, partners, and more), what is expected of us, and what we expect of others and the world. These lessons are very difficult to overcome. These are all attempts to protect us but were built when we needed protection. As adults, we are much more capable of facing the things those lessons are trying to protect us from.

The path to overcoming those lessons is begun by first acknowledging that we may not want to live the life that we've invested many decades into building. Check out Chris' interview here

I love you,
