We all have choices to make

We all have choices to make

July 14, 2020

Sometimes bad things just happen, and this year we happen to be having having a bumper crop. So, what do we do?

It is true that we cannot, as individuates, change the landscape of the pandemic, or the racial issues in the US or the world. We as individuals are not going to be able to free or heal all the children the US, a country I am a citizen of, has detained, lost, abused, and traumatized. We can, however, change how we see the world. This is not to avoid the pain that is being caused, nor is it selfish, but we do it to contribute to the healing.

We often ask "What is the meaning of life?" and the reason we ask this is because it is the only question we are being asked. If we can answer this question, right now, "What is the meaning of my life in this moment?" not to look at the whole of life, but to ask "What can I do right now?" we will find our purpose, and it will give our life meaning. Perhaps only for a moment but moments are what life is made up of, so today, right now, answer the question "What can I do right now?" because that will move you toward meaning, and that will change the world.
