Why Nothing is Important
April 12, 2022
I have been saying "Nothing is always a good thing to say" for decades, and trying to incorporate it into my life wherever I can. Now, most of you know me as a talker, and it is true, I talk much more than I would like to admit, but I still believe in the power of nothing.
While I was in the Dark Retreat I was able to be in touch with nothing in a whole new way. I hope that experience will help me better say nothing because I do believe it is always a good thing to say.
I have found that saying things often comes from a place of wanting to prove myself. I know, as I have for a long time, that I don't have to prove myself. As I have continued to recover myself I have found that proving myself has robbed me of the experiences and lessons that are right in front of me. Proving myself has been me playing the victim to some external. That is not the me I am intent upon recovering. So, I will continue to embrace nothing, and as I do, my life will increasingly be fulfilling and powerful because I get to drop that which doesn't serve me.
If you are ready to stop proving yourself and learn about how you can look within to alter your world, reply to this email because when you Recover Yourself there is no telling who else will be inspired to grow with you.
