Your Truth is Behind Your Lies
February 1, 2022
Asking someone to evaluate themselves is a tricky business. We are not always aware of the lies we are telling ourselves. This is mainly because we have been telling them to ourselves our entire lives.
We believe these lies as truths. We can even identify points that can "prove" these lies are, in fact, truths. We have proven it so many times that it must be true, but they never were. No matter how much we want them to be, they aren't.
So, although we might really believe that we're going about our lives being completely honest, we're only being as honest as we can be at this moment. But to recognize that there is probably a lie in there somewhere, even if you can't see it, is a great first step into recovering more of yourself.
If you find yourself getting angry at others, which is especially common these days, you might want to consider examining lies you might have built your life around. If you want to find more truth within yourself reach out to me and let's talk about working together.
